We found a new park that has becomes one of CJ's favorite spots. I think he likes it because of all the duck action. He loves to watch the ducks splash and chase after pieces of bread. He has even tried to jump in and join them a few times. Luckily I am quicker than he is and have managed to keep him dry. Visiting with the ducks is always a fun way to pass time.

Forts are ALWAYS Fun!
CJ and I spent a little time in our extraordinary fort the other night. He loved to make our roof collapse. I'm sure the fort-making skills will improve with time.

A Little Christmas Cheer!
Christmas really is more of a joyous experience when you can see it through a child's eyes. I must say, Santa, myself, Mina and many other family members treated CJ very well this year. Of course the best present was having Mina fly down to spend the holiday with us. CJ really lights up when she is around. He loves to show off all his new skills. We are still working on having him say "Mina." right now it sounds like "mmm..NA!" Hahaha he is getting there. Anyways, I think everyone really enjoyed this Christmas.
Christmas Day, of all days, my son decided to sleep in till 9:30. When he finally woke up he saw the beautiful tree with presents underneath. The unwrapping process lasted quite a while. CJ would open a couple and then be ready for something else to do. The first present he unwrapped was hilarious. It was Mr. Potato Head and CJ seemed a lil unhappy with him. Enjoy the pics and videos below! Merry Christmas!
Christmas Eve consisted of our Pajama exchange and movies. It was a great time!
CJ got creative and left Santa some sugar cookies, apple pie bites and green tea. YUM!
Oh wait... before we changed into our pajamas we took some pictures by our lovely tree. CJ was really enjoying picture time. We would sit long enough just to snap the picture and then take off running. That boy is too quick.

CJ's Style..
CJ's closet is growing. Of course he doesn't necessarily care what I put him in but his style, or mine, is really starting to shine! Oh but trust me, the one thing he must have a say in is his shoe collection. Such a boy! He has more shoes than me...and he literally throws a fit when it is time to take them off. Oh CJ :)
He was really feeling this outfit :)
Check out the socks mom!
We are so fashionable!
My angel..takes over the bed!
CJ still sleeps in bed with me. I will usually put him to bed a couple hours before I actually go to bed. By the time I come back into my room he is always laying in some sprawled out position. It always gives me a laugh.
He loves to put his feet up by the pillows :)
Sideways is also a comfortable way to take over the bed!
Where is mommy supposed to sleep? LOL

Halloween..Night of the Lion
This year we celebrated CJ's 2nd Halloween. We didn't do the traditional trick o' treating but we did take advantage of our community's Trunk O' Treating. We also went to some community parks and church events. Most of the activities were for older children but CJ still had a good time looking at all of the other costumes and running around. He even had one little girl that thought he was a life sized stuffed animal and chased him around for a hug. CJ enjoyed himself. He really got into his costume! He even let out a little "roar" every now and then.
Mommy the butterfly and CJ the lion.
I promise he liked his costume!
